What Obituary Made Easy does
Obituary Made Easy guides you through simple questions about your loved one and helps turn your answers into an obituary draft you can edit. You can preview memorial designs and funeral programs for free. The $49 Tribute lets you download the print-ready file.
Your account
You can use the app without an account. If you sign in to save your work, we will send a sign-in link to your email. Please keep access to your email secure, because anyone who can open that link can open your saved memorials.
Your content
- The stories, details, and photos you provide belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to provide the service to you.
- Please share only information and photos you have the right to use, and do not upload anything unlawful, hateful, or harmful.
- The draft we help write is a starting point. Please review every name, date, and detail before you print, publish, or share it. You are responsible for the final wording.
Prices and payment
- Starting is free. You can write and edit your obituary draft and preview designs at no cost.
- The Tribute is a one-time payment of $49. It is not a subscription, and there are no monthly fees.
- Payments are processed by Stripe on its secure checkout page. The price is shown before you pay.
- First-time customers can enter EARLYACCESS50 on the Stripe checkout page for 50% off their first order.
- Your purchase unlocks downloads in the browser you used to pay. If you need help getting to a purchase, email hello@obituarymadeeasy.com.
- If you have a problem with a purchase, email hello@obituarymadeeasy.com and we will review it.
Features marked "coming soon"
Features and packages marked "coming soon," including the Complete and Premium packages, are not available yet and are not part of a Tribute purchase. Joining the early access list does not reserve or purchase them.
Our designs and website
The designs, artwork, text, and software of Obituary Made Easy belong to us. You may print and share the files you create for your family's memorial and remembrance. Please do not copy, resell, or redistribute our designs or the service itself.
Using the service respectfully
Please do not misuse the service, try to break or overload it, access other people's memorials, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend access if the service is being misused.
Disclaimers
We work hard to make Obituary Made Easy helpful and reliable, but the service is provided "as is." We cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we are not responsible for mistakes in content you approve, print, or publish.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Obituary Made Easy is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update them on this page and change the date at the top. Using the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
